evolution of minjan (kimura) hairstyles

today it’s about the sizzling topic of trav’s new hairstyle, since he’s a chameleon wannabe and idolizes takuya kimura, hence the new alias. bah

one day, out of curiosity, he signed up as a hair model for alv chan’s cousin’s hair assignment project from a renown salon. he walked in… got seated and waited for his haircut, and in the end got POACHED by the salon’s creative director instead.

he was chosen by the director as one of the hair models for their next year’s aw/winter hair catalogue hair show. damn cool! he showed me the hairstyle they gonna cut for him, was abit skeptical at first but i think they are waaay more weirder peeps at lasalle so nothing much shocks me anymore.

they started chopping off his hair…

this was actually the second time they trimmed his hair because it was growing way too fast. hair growth fast also complain?!

the first time they cut it, i lOVE IT so much, i tried convincing him to keep the same hairstyle for sometime. Unfortunately the second time when they trimmed his hair, he got POACHED again by another hair stylist, and the picture above is the outcome of the freshly cut hair. it was quite meh to me.

didn’t really like it as compared to the first one. i didn’t manage to take any photo of the first hair cut because i was too caught up with my school assessment. bloody regretting it now.

then they need to bleach his hair and told him to lay off the shampoo for a few days prior to bleaching. This is very important as the natural oils help to protect your scalp against the strong bleaching agent. minjan just rinse his hair with water for a few days before bleaching and it works really well, all he gets is a slight tingling minty sensation. they washed his hair afterwards and realised the hair color is not blonde enough and bleach again and he felt the real ***** up pain on the bleaching pain ed and ziyu told him about.

New Loots for October!

first of all, my favourite H&M mustard knit hat.

second is my zara beret sequinned hat as shown here!

you can imagine my head on the white space above. anyway you want it. hahahaha tricky huh

third and latest is the new lip liner i just bought today from etude House!
gorgeous shade! and its only $5.90 too. I like Lipliners because it has similar effect as Lip stains BUT it also lasts longer. yay! no need to touch up every now and then.

been eyeing at the Bobbi Brown one but its too expensive for my shallow pocket… and today when i got off the station i have a strong feeling to visit this shop and got this in less than 5 mins in there. am i a speedy shopper or what?

there’s no name of the shade on it but its like the color of rosy sandalwood? smooth to apply too absolutely in love!

you can tell how happy i am with my new lippie partner by the amount of photos i took… yes i realised ever since i cut bangs i’ve been taking alot of photos. bf’s phone gallery all my photos too and he started calling me cam … WHORE

I took this to prove trav that I have abs! But sadly it’s gone when he’s back. Nonetheless he said it’s “quite convincing” shot.
The trick is  to keep ur stomach empty before taking this photo. Twist your waist to your right alittle so the muscle line will be more obvious! Tadah hahahahhaa

expensive thrill – 2 days Bali weekend trip

time to update this long overdue post backdated from the Good Friday long weekend in April. yeah it’s end of May now so way to go Tomato!

Actually this wasnt suppose to be my trip, my bff cy trade places with me last minute because she had something on at the last minute.

i dont mind the last minute trip but wasnt fanatic about the price tag though, $544 for two days one night trip at Grand Hyatt! wellll there’s my allowance for the mth.

went there with two other leos, bff pf and Gina ! 3 leos means theres gonna be lotsa frivolous activities and laze around much.

cuz we were born this way. YEAAAAAAAAAAAH hahaha i love tacky puns.

had lunch at the hotel’s restaurant while waiting for the room to be ready.

had to mask bff’s face cuz she had a slipped up moment there lol

i took my lens case and the travel pack solution but I FORGOT TO BRING MY LENS WTFFFFFFF! yeah real smart tomato!

by the time we got around frolicking at the hotel’s beach it was evening already, so we had our dinner outside the hotel at the Made’s Warung in Kuta area, which is also famous for its night scene and the whole street is filled with clubs. People just go around club hopping because there’s no entry fee! SHIOK and the drinks and shots there are much much cheaper.

TEQUILA SHOT FOR SGD2.5 HELLO? I would really love to get high there if only im in the appropriate clothes ;/ went club hopping and memorized the best clubs in my head on that night.

NEXT TIME BABY! PARTY COMES and next time we will be there for a few nights! RAWRS

at Made Warung, has really nice food there and its half the price of the hotel’s food.

we had Gado Gado, Satay and a combo of their padang food PLUS 3 AVOCADO JUICE. my favourite drink in the world

notice the brow-raising drinks menu, cock suckerr!  a very well thought out menu indeed. imagine if  guys buys the girls this… could pick up some freebies at the end of night if you get what i mean. ahahaha

not advisable, its just a joke okay.

DAY 2 – breakfast at Hotel

super swollen face, straight from bed because we were late for hotel breakfast! last ones there.

on our way to beach for some serious water sports.

from the first, parasailing, jet ski and banana boat. i absolutely love parasailing and jet ski for the high and fast thrill on the sea.

got back to the hotel in the afternoon and jump right into the pool afterwards, the girls were excited for a tan and I was eager to go to the pool bar. heehee

evening our chauffeur came to pick us off to the Jimbaran beach for a romantic sunset view and dinner plus Spa .

off to spa after our dinner, a very rushed trip!

while in the car we chatted with the driver and he told us folks in Bali earns USD100 -200 on average. gasp!

spa was at this small spa centre off a dark random street, doesnt look very spa like from the front, and alot of staff were just waiting for customers. quite uncool but okay.

me and pf shared a room and gina in another room by herself, the massage was very shiok but at the end of it there’s a scrub session that literally burnt our skins, we were all suffering from an aftermath of sun burn. boo

and they scrubbed real hard too! well mine wasnt too bad but i think pf was literally on the verge of tears lol.

then we have to rinse and soak our body in a small tub… together

never in my years of knowing pf on our first day of school i would have imagined being half naked in the tub with her. lol

but i think we are so used to each other we were not really embarrassed about being naked. hmm i think we’ve reached the age where we are comfortable with our own skin.

lovely evening, miss the food now wish i could go back there again but with the boyfriend hopefully. don’t think its gonna happen this year. dec im wishing for a cool cool winter holiday!

the uncool thing is having to wake up early at 3am to get ready for our flight at 6 …….. zoners.

love the hotel! but not recommended to stay there because the area is so exclusive u have to take a cab everywhere to go to the cool and fun places.
